Cape to Delta 2025 : Southern Africa

from the delights of Cape Town, South Africa to the heart of the Okavango Delta, Botswana

November 7 - 16, 2025

  • Days 1 - 4 : Cape Town

Our first stop is Africa’s “Mother City,” bursting with history, culture and natural beauty. In four action-packed days we will walk, eat and learn our way through Cape Town. We will learn to cook local food, experience a traditional braai, visit Robben Island, and hike to the top of Table Mountain. We will enjoy the best of the city’s culinary delights and wet our whistles with a local wine tour. While we won’t want to leave this incredible city, even more adventure awaits.

  • Days 5 - 8 : Okavango Delta, Botswana

We will fly from Cape Town to Maun, Botswana for a once-in-a-lifetime safari experience. The Okavango Delta is one of the most wild and pristine wilderness areas in Africa, and we will venture to the heart of it. Botswana has made conserted efforts to preserve the Okavango by limiting the number of people that step foot there. Thanks to this consciousness, the natural world thrives in this region. From elephants to lions, hippos to crocodiles, incredible birdlife, and so many more unexpected surprises, we will be delighted by the wildlife the delta offers. We will stay in a river camp where we will wake up to the sounds of nature, experience a full-day mokoro (traditional canoe) safari as well as a full-day open vehicle game drive. If you have to choose one safari in your lifetime, make it this one.

  • Days 9 - 10 : Cape Town & Departures

After flying back to Cape Town on Day 8, we will spend one final epic day in the Western Cape. We will eat to our heart’s content, encounter African penguins, and round out the day with Chapman’s Peak and a dip in the ocean. Our last dinner together will also be something to remember.

On Day 10 we prepare for our departures and say farewell to our grandiose African adventure. Warning: those that come on this trip will want to come back.
